Your dog(s) and/or cat(s) are in the best of hands while in our care. We are a private boarding club nestled in Pleasant Valley. We are centered on comfort, safety, and we make sure your dog or cat is having a blast! Most importantly, we genuinely care about your pet's well-being. F & Q
How many dogs do you have on a typical day? It varies, but no more than 8.
What do dogs do all day during their stay? Party like a dogstar of course! They have a blast all day. We provide pictures and videos to prove it!
Do you use kennels? We use appropriately sized kennels for your dog under 20 minutes (or less) per day.
Where do dogs sleep at night? Indoors. Your dogs are welcome to choose where they want to sleep.
What if dogs don't get along? On rare occasions, if dogs do not get along, we keep them separated throughout the stay (dogs are on a rotation of different areas).
How do you separate dogs? We have multiple sections in the play yard and two exits through the main indoor quarters leading outside. Easily changable fencing panels allows us to adapt to any current situation.
Do you feed dogs separately? Yes.
Are dogs left alone? Dogs are supervised at all times. At least 2 professional caregivers are with the dogs all day, every day.
How long have you been in operation? 3 years.
How much property do you have? 5 acres.
If there is a dog fight, what do you do? We prevent it from happening altogether by recognizing the signs and signals. We also use silicone color coded collars to identify dogs from very low risk (green) to high risk (red). We analyze all dogs and perform a behavioral assessment before ever letting another dog into a group. In a worst case scenario, high pressure water (readily available) will cease any fighting.
My dog is an escape artist. How can you ensure he/she cannot get out?
We have been tested by the masters of escape artists during controlled testing of the security of our facility inside and out.One thing is certain: Dogs can check-in, but they cannot check-out. Until their owner picks them up.
If there is a fire, what do you do?
We have a fire exit plan. We have 9 fully functioning exit doors leading outside. We have 4 extinguishers for every 200sq ft throughout the facility. We have a detailed evacuation plan and a bus equipped with dog seatbelts to travel safely to our emergency shelter in Loomis.
We provide a just-like-home environment for your dog under the care of responsible, compassionate, and educated professionals. We provide you with piece of mind like no other place around. Take a look at our reviews on Google to see what our pet parents have to say.
Thank you for reading. We look forward to caring for your dogs time and time again!
