Red Woof Inn Doggie Daycare is a locally owned and operated facility located in Central North River, Nova Scotia. We pride ourselves on our commitment to outstanding service. When your dog comes to Red Woof Inn, he or she will be integrated into a supervised play group that best suits their personality. We follow the ‘play all day’ method where your dog will interact with other dogs. This is done carefully and at a pace within each dog’s comfort level so please let us know if your pet has any social issues that need to be addressed.
Effective January 1st, 2022, Red Woof Inn will be making a maximum of 5 boarding spots available for the following times (March Break, Canada Day to Labour Day and Christmas). Any other dates outside of those listed must be confirmed at least 2 months in advance with us and will be based on availability of spots and our schedule.
When we are at capacity, the lack of space forces us to turn away some clients for daycare and boarding. When clients pick up their dogs early, cancel reservations, or change reservations without an appropriate amount of notice (at minimum 48 hours), it is frequently too late for us to fill the kennel space that we reserved for them because the clients that we turned away have already made other arrangements. This causes us to lose income because that kennel is then left vacant. Due to the potential loss of revenue because of no shows, untimely cancellations, schedule changes, and early pickups, we have implemented the following cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy
All reservations must be pre-paid to secure your boarding spot. At the time your reservation is made for boarding you will be sent a confirmation email followed with an invoice for your dog’s stay. It’s important for you to indicate the drop off time and pick up times when you are booking a boarding appointment so the invoice can be calculated properly. We, as always allow an hour or so leeway for drop offs and pickups. Your spot is held tentatively until payment is received. Once we receive payment your spot is locked in any you will receive an emailed receipt for your payment.
We require at the latest a 48-hour notice for cancellations or reservation schedule changes. When we are unable to re-book the space that is reserved for our client due to lack of notice we will not be issuing a refund. We will make every effort to fill all or part of the reservation dates and will offer a credit for future stays to our client based on the days we were able to fill.
