Welcome to Green Timber Training & Kennels!!! J.R. Totten is the founder and owner of Green Timber Training & Kennels. When you board with GTTK, we want the owners to leave the worry behind and enjoy their time away knowing their pets are in good hands. When training with GTTK, we strive to prevent another pet from heading to a shelter by providing knowledge and proper training skills to the pet owner and pet. Our greatest satisfaction comes from knowing we made a difference for the owner and the pet.

As a certified ABC (Animal Behavioral College) professional trainer combined with over 30 years of experience in observing behavior, J.R. caters to customers who have obedience and behavioral issues associated with larger-breed dogs. He will evaluate your dog and provide you with knowledge and necessary training to make both you and your pet successful. The objective of a training program at Green Timber Training & Kennels is to produce a confident dog that excels as both a family and/or a hunting companion. The cornerstone to the program revolves around our ability to provide training that results in an exuberant and obedient family pet. One of the keys to a successful program revolves around owner involvement and handler education. J.R. will strive to work one on one with you and your dog in order to build good handling and communication skills.
